Mark's Scan

Mark just called me... He got scan results back just now.... And it showed nothing spreading beyond liver. We are so happy and relieved! So next is UCLA and UNOS need to schedule a meeting/conference call (will probably
happen in next 2-3 weeks), and at that point UNOS "should" assign us the MELD score of 29. I wanted to share the fantastic news!!!! I am so happy right now, big weight just lifted off of us. Ahhhh I can breathe again.....
Waiting for the scan result is so nerve racking. So next is waiting on UNOS to assign the 29!!!! Lots of love, Jenna.

ABOUT MARK

My name is Mark Andrews. I am 35 years old. I have been married to my beautiful wife Jenna since Nov 2000. We had our first baby, Jonathan Patrick Andrews, on Nov, 15 2007. I can't even tell you how great that has been. We live in Stevenson Ranch California.

Jenna and I have a wonderful marriage. We are very open with each other, great communicators and we love each other very much. I can't even imagine what it would be like to go through this without her. We are helping each other keep a positive attitude.

The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon swallowing its own tail and forming a circle. The notion of a serpent or dragon eating its own tail can be traced back to Ancient Egypt, circa 1600 BC. From ancient Egypt it passed to Phoenicia and then to the Greek philosophers, who gave it the name Ouroboros ("tail-devourer"). It has been used to represent many things over the ages, but it most generally symbolizes ideas of cyclicality, unity, or infinity especially in the sense of something constantly re-creating itself, the eternal return, and other things perceived as cycles that begin anew as soon as they end.
